Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include:
- Identify financial system needs, develop requirements and manage selection of solutions
- Serve as functional lead and/or project manager for financial system implementations, upgrades and enhancements
- Serve as application owner and primary point of contact for financial systems
- Serve as functional lead for financial system change management requirements
- Approve and monitor financial system access in accordance with Company policies, procedures, GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and other requirements
- Perform assessments of financial systems and processes and develop improvement strategies for reporting, analysis and internal controls, including data warehouse strategies
- Provide ongoing support to financial system users to ensure timely and sufficient resolution of issues by internal and external Information Technology resources
- Serve as financial systems technical advisor to business management
- Support accounting and financial system audits by internal, external and DCAA auditors
- Evaluate and coordinate financial system related requests
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, or closely related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Work Experience:
Nine or more years of project management experience, including managing budgets, preparing estimates at complete and performing variance analyses.
Process improvement and systems implementation experience.
Experience in accounting, financial analysis and financial reporting.
Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Knowledge of data warehouses, data extract tools, report writing applications and other accounting-related software applications
Other Desirable Requirements:
Experience with Oracle supply chain and financial modules
Knowledge of government contracting, CAS and FAR
Master’s degree and/or CPA highly desirable
