Our client is a Mid-Sized Solutions Company and is seeking a qualified individual who is customer focused and looking to take on a consultative role in their fast paced environment. This is a role where the right candidate can work with Sr. Consultants and learn the ropes from the ground up in a top flight Service based organization. Your technical expertise and experience could land you a permanent position.

Essential Functions (Responsibilities):

·          Build, rack, and cable servers

·          Load and initialize operating system, storage volume groups, etc.

·          Configure network services (minimal)

·          Configure network printers

·          Migrate data

·          Create documentation

·          Test solutions implemented

·          Provide knowledge transfer to clients (informal setting)

·          Develop additional skills and competencies as required

·          Adhere to methodologies and policies

·          Complete assigned work within timeframe and budget

·          Travel to client site as needed

·          Provide sales support in developing service solutions for clients

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications/Requirements:

·          2-3 years Unix IBM AIX experience

·          Storage area network experience a plus

·          Strong interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written

·          Work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative manner

·          Desktop productivity/documentation tools MS-Office

·          Client focused

·          Quality focused

·          Manage own time and schedule effectively

·          IBM, HP or similar certifications a plus

·          30-50% travel is possible
